I am sorry to let you guys know that my "Cupid's Pet" entry did not make it to the final voting. I guess i am kinda pissed not because i didn't make it, but more so by what did make to the finalist...Please allow me to link you a few examples: (sorry to those people...i am sure you are nice people but your art suck).

I think that is enough for your sight....maybe i am just too full of myself...but please explain to me how the hell did those get in the finalist over mine? I am not super good or anything, but i think both creativity level and technical skill wise i am above those people. I don't mind losing if i was lost to people who are truly better than me. I won't be writing this journal here because i will be too busy messaging them for art tips.
The entry that is currently getting the most votes...is probably one of most boring one...it is just a horse with wings laying on the grass...-_- wow...how creative is that...From what i understand, the C.O.W. community on conceptart.org is a very enclosed circle of friends...if you are new (even you do have talent) don't expect to get anywhere. Most people will only vote for their friends.
However this whole experience is not all bad. At least i did make a decent piece (I think i did alright and thanks to those who think that too) for myself. It also made me realize how close-minded some judges can be on conceptart.org. I chose to do something different, something other than just a cute animal with wings standing there doing nothing...I actually had a story to tell...i guess that did not matter...it is too different from what they use to seeing. If that is the level of art they were looking for, i guess i am glad i was not part of it.
At last, i want to use this opportunity to thank those who ever added my work to their fav and left comments, especially to those who have been watching me. I don't have many friends on deviantart but for the small circle of friends i do have, you guys have been great and so supportive. Because of you, i was able to do better and better pieces. I thank you!
